Give-away Day!

Hello to any visitors from Sew, Mama, Sew! (and anyone else stopping by of course!). I've decided to let Bunki go to a new home as part of Give-away Day. It's the least I can do to give back to the crafting community for all the great free tutorials and patterns I've used or saved for another day.

So here he is. He's a cuddly, big-eared cat. I think he'd rather be a bunny with his big, tall ears. There's a natty orange scarf to keep his neck warm on cool days.

If you would like to give him a home, then just leave a comment below. I'm not fussy about what. If you're feeling generous I'd love some new-to-me links ... something fun for small kids? your favourite pattern or tutorial? a delectable morsel? Even just a 'hello' will do if you're time poor.

I'll randomly pick a winner on Thursday evening (4th December). Good luck!

Edit: Thanks for all your kind comments! I'll leave the give-away open for one more day. Tomorrow night (Friday 5th) I'll select a random winner to give visitors from far-away a chance to enter.

Oh gosh... I don't have a blog, but I have fond memories of making peanut butter bon bons with my Mom and sister about this time of the year. I don't have the recipe handy, but it's basically some PB, rice crispies, a touch of butter and powdered sugar all mushed up and put into balls (little hands are perfect for achieving the perfect size, if they don't eat it all or get bored first!). Then dip in a mix of chocolate and parafin wax (just enough to add gloss and resist melting) and chill. I'll get the recipe for you if you e-mail me--no give away necessary!
