What a coincidental 'this is' topic. As I mentioned in my last post, my dream job will be making a living from a crafting life. I'd love to make and sell both patterns and handmade goods in a variety of mediums. My first trial amigurumi pattern is currently in the works. With luck and determination it should be the first of many.
I don't think I had a dream job as a child.
Through high school I did the subjects I did well at, which happened to be science and maths. I kept that up through a couple of goes at university, but could never see myself spending all day in a laboratory.
I've mainly worked in a variety of customer service roles over the last ten years, most recently in a bookshop. That's pretty nice work, although a little dirtier than most would imagine. And not just browsing through books all day either. Still, it was easy, relatively pleasant work. Emphasis on was.
My 'job' now is much better. Mum. Just Mum. Hurray for no more weekends away from my family!
Thanks to three buttons for hosting 'this is', and to bugandpop for choosing this weeks topic.

I have to admit that I was the same, I had no great ambitions as I grew up so I found it fascinating that so many people did.
