Pantaloons: part 2

May I present pants no. 2. Brown corduroy jeans from vintage Kwik Sew pattern 1029.

The envelope says 'slim sizes', but I ended up haphazardly slipping some elastic into the back waistband. It's worked out well since they now can just be pulled up and down without fiddling with a button and fly. Buttons aren't very popular with the big girl.

Both girls were industriously drawing when I remembered to pull the camera out. I didn't want to tear her away from her work. And she was still. A rarity.

This pattern came from my Mum and had been precut. About 25 years ago I was wearing jeans cut from the same pattern. Isn't that odd?

VERY cool pants! I love your blog, I'm coming back for another look when I have more time. Love the felt food, and the eggs!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Not odd - cool! I'd wear those pants and the subsequent ones you posted. Lot my mojo, sewing that is, for the moment - have to get it back, there's a list to work on!
