The end

The festive season is officially over for our family. Jason returned to work today after a two week break. I'm alone with two little girls again. And I completely burnt the dinner. And I can't bear to face the charred remains in the pot yet. It's been a long day. I need a hot tea. And some chocolate. And some quiet.

Yesterday was long too, but for a better reason. We trekked over to the other side of Melbourne to visit the Werribee Open Range Zoo with a pair of grandparents. A great day, except for the part where we locked the keys in the car.
